The award-winning lawyers at Baxter Harder, LLC are devoted to providing high standards of professional representation for people needing legal counsel. We work in a number of different areas of law, including:
Whether you need an attorney to defend you against criminal charges or you’re facing a divorce involving child custody arrangements, our firm is here for you. We are all local Oregon lawyers, so we understand the complex laws in Oregon as well as at the federal level. Baxter Harder, LLC is also a boutique law firm, which means you will be speaking directly with your attorneys rather than scheduling a case consultation through a secretarial 3rd party.
Our founders are also well educated and experienced attorneys.
Our founder wants to ensure his clients receive the high standards of professional representation that they need after an arrest or accusation. His experience in criminal litigation includes being a former Deschutes County Deputy District Attorney and prior Treasurer and President of the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Association.
Casey’s experience as a deputy district attorney has allowed him to try many misdemeanor and felony cases. In addition, his hard work paved the way for Deschutes County’s Veteran's Treatment Court and implementing a “Veteran's Intervention Strategy” in the county to assist and address issues of veteran’s returning from combat.
The firm’s co-founder is determined to protect the rights of our clients. His experience in business, real estate, and domestic relations allows him to help people navigate those complex legal fields, allowing them to obtain the most favorable outcome possible.
Joseph has experience counselling small and emerging businesses, representing individuals and small businesses in lease and contract disputes, and represented clients in a broad variety of civil actions in both state and federal court. He also brings his experience in representing clients with issues related to debt collection and clients with issues related to family law, such as restraining orders child custody, and legal separation.
