Prior to joining Baxter Harder, Jacklyn worked as an associate attorney at Draneas Huglin Cooper LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She guided clients and their families through every facet of estate planning, probate, and elder law, including planning for taxable estates and negotiating settlement agreements for families experiencing extreme conflict. Jacklyn was previously a National Certified Guardian and worked with a team of professional fiduciaries to administer trusts, estates, and conservatorships.
During law school, Jacklyn worked in the Wills & Trusts Clinic and clerked at the Department of Justice, Trial Division where she attended depositions, drafted settlement agreements, prepared a legal memorandum, discovery requests, and responses. In addition, Jacklyn conducted significantly large research projects, including the interpretation of the Uniform Trust Code and research on the federal and state legislations protecting the rights of LGBT older adults.
Before achieving her goal of becoming an attorney, Jacklyn worked as a legal assistant for 10 years where she gained experience in a variety of family and elder law matters, including divorce, child custody, adoptions, parenting time disputes, guardianships, and conservatorships.

Jacklyn is passionate about making life as adventurous as possible and loves living in the Pacific Northwest for this reason. She is an avid runner who also loves snowboarding, paddleboarding, camping, hiking and taking road trips with her family, friends, and border collie named Molly.
